No Injuries From 10 Area Mishaps
Ten traffic accidents were recorded Friday in two counties and eight cities with no injuries. A 1962 car driven by Tony Tallio, 47, of Paola, overturned on the Haskell-Vinland- Baldwin road south of K-10 at about 5:45 p.m. Tallio was said to reach for papers blowing from the window. A second crash near Lawrence involved Janit Harper, 19, Route 3 Baldwin, and Kerry Ott, 17, of 1620 W Fifth, causing $300 in damages. The major Lawrence crash at 15th and Mass Streets caused about $550 in damage. Most other incidents were noted as fender benders.
