Intone Corp fined 2500 in Ridglea Apartments case
The Intone Corp owner of Ridglea Apartments was fined 2500 dollars plus court costs in a Douglas County Court rent deposit suit. Judge Mike Elwell entered the decision after a Monday hearing in which no witnesses appeared. The case, filed March 26 by the county attorney on behalf of Gordon Stull, alleges Intone failed to return a security deposit or notify tenants of property damage. The officers could not be located and Intone is not listed in Kansas or Arizona registries, so the fine stands as a lien on the real estate. Further suits against Ridglea's owners ask for deficiency judgments, with hearings not yet held.
