Bee Los Angeles Y2K Sewage Spill In Park
A water reclamation plant in Van Nuys spilled about 4 million gallons of sewage into a San Fernando Valley park during a Y2K test. Health officials closed part of the park for two days as crews vacuumed the spill after an emergency generator functioned but a gate failed to reopen.
