Father of the Year candidate touts two dads amid MS journey
Amanda nominated her stepfather Jones, a Lawrence High School sophomore’s father figure, for the National MS Society Mid America Chapter Father of the Year. Diagnosed with MS four years ago, the 52-year-old owes his strength to his family, while the MS community notes more than 300,000 Americans live with the disease and about 200 are diagnosed weekly.
