Calendar reform debate spurs proposed 13 month year plan
A British led calendar reform proposal backed by the League of Nations contemplates a year of thirteen 28 day months with a fixed Easter and an extra year day. Two variants exist: one with 13 equal months, and another with four quarters of 30 or 31 days. Adoption would require multi nation ratification and time to consult governments.
