Circus Train Wreck Near Ebensburg Injures Employees

The Frank A. Robbins circus train derailed one mile from Ebensburg Pennsylvania early today. Two lions, an elephant, a leopard, a hyena, a jaguar and an ibex escaped at large. Several circus employees suffered injuries in the wreck.

Lawrence Hosts Twin Weddings In A Night Of June Romance

In Lawrence two weddings unfold at the Johnson residence and a later ceremony at the Kel ebrating. Genevieve Clark and Walter Evans wed with a daisied home setting and a reception then depart for California and Carthage after a midsummer honeymoon. Mayme Kenny and John McCleery wed at noon under crimson ramblers with Mendelssohn music as guests look on. Both brides are praised for charm and social circles across Kansas.
