Reta L. Heine, 92, of Lawrence, died June 13, 2024, at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Services are pending and will be announced by Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
Lawrence Police reported Neal died at a area hospital after gunshots at 2406 Alabama St about 1 15 am. Officers found him with multiple wounds and life saving measures began. Police later announced Glover in custody on a $1 million bond after tips. Glover has juvenile felony marijuana distribution conviction in 2022 and escape misdemeanor in 2023 plus a 2020 misdemeanor battery at Free State High School. He also has a 2022 Johnson County concealed firearm conviction. Witnesses listed include AMC Theatre staff.
