At the Kansas Annual Conference of the Methodist Church in Pittsburg five new members joined Baker University's Board of Trustees. New trustees are Dwight E. Dusak Raymond D. Pruitt M D Walter W. Ross Joe W. Wenger and J Joyce Wilson. Four year terms go to Charles Stevenson C Y Thomas and G Marlin Welch who were re elected.

HONOLULU AP Two sailors are unaccounted for after a flash fire aboard the 2500 ton submarine Sargo at Pearl Harbor. The one hour blaze occurred in the torpedo room and the stern section was submerged while the submarine remained in safe condition. Navy officials said the torpedo compartment was flooded and no danger to the vessel was reported.
