Varsity House settlement paid by Fritzel in no bid case
City leaders confirm Lawrence businessman Thomas Fritzel has paid in full a 50000 settlement tied to the Varsity House project in the Oread neighborhood. The agreement follows disputes over dismantling the early 1900s home for a 50 unit Varsity House apartment complex at llth and Indiana streets.
