Jury fails to reach verdict in Dietrich bank robbery case
In Jefferson county district court at Oskaloosa the jury could not reach a verdict after an all afternoon of deliberation on the robbery charge against Mrs. Minnie Dietrich in the Union State bank theft of 701.50 from McYouth on April 24. The jury stood eight for conviction and four for acquittal and a retrial is planned for November. Oscar Botts pleaded guilty to the same robbery charge and faces sentencing next Monday.
