Global field of triathletes descends on Clinton State Park
Athletes from all 50 states and over a dozen countries join more than 2,000 entrants for the Ironman 70.3 Kansas event at Clinton State Park in Douglas County. The 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run begin 6:30 a.m. Sunday as participants and families fill Lawrence hotels and Clinton Lake campsites.

Tributes flow for former KU athletics director Bob Frederick

50 000 Kansans face health care backlog
