Tokyo police mobilize 25 000 officers for President Eisenhower visit amid fears of leftist disruption. A secure 11 mile route to the palace will use a closed limousine and 13 trucks with 600 officers plus 52 motorcycle units. The Socialist party joins government welcoming efforts.

Dr Barbara Moore, 56, a British physician hiking in Indiana, was hit on U S 40 four miles west of Brazil by a car driven by Elizabeth M. Kline of Shamokin Pennsylvania. She remained in satisfactory condition after examination at Clay County Hospital. A separate note states Moore’s accident insurance policy expired last Friday after a 14 day term sold May 27 in Salina Kansas, offering 10000 for accidental death and 1000 for hospital expenses.
AP reports the closing for the 60 stocks index at 224.4, up 0.3 point. The market in New York moves modestly higher on the session as investors await further economic data.
