Emory Scott manager of the Patee theater returned from a week in Colorado with vivid memories of Fall River pass and Trail Ridge museum where he and 60 motorists were snowbound near Estes Park. Temperatures dropped to 27 degrees with 65 to 85 mph winds as three inches of snow fell in 90 minutes. The group, including honeymooners and a 72 year old man, waited at the Trail Ridge museum for a snow plow to clear 23 miles of road. They reached Estes Park around midnight with no casualties.
