Dr S A Brainard convicted of plotting to kill Mrs Maude Martin to stop her testimony in a murder trial testified that Coffeyville attorney F B Hanson was a participant. Brainard, Paul R Jones and Muriel Sullivan are serving life terms. Brainard said Hanson offered to “get rid of” the witness for $500 and deny knowledge of a death by action note.
