Symphony in the Flint Hills celebrates beauty with beauty

The seventh annual Symphony in the Flint Hills staged a full outdoors concert near Bushong Kansas with the Kansas City Symphony. More than 5000 general admissions tickets were sold as attendees enjoyed music, education, and a barbecue in a prairie setting with horse drawn carriage rides and rolling Lyon County hills. Volunteers from Lawrence aided operations, highlighting preservation of the Flint Hills and the communal outdoor music experience.
