Financing woes surround Gazaway golf course plan near Lawrence
Lawrence city leaders gave Jeff Gazaway eight weeks to prove funding for a proposed 6500 yard golf course east of Lawrence. Gazaway, negotiating with a partner and lender, said financing could wrap in six weeks. City values private sector solutions but worries about a 36 hole market as a city course potential.
