Youth Killed Under Truck Rear Wheels
A 16 year old boy, John Rockhold of Edgerton, was killed when his body was run over by a truck’s rear wheels four miles south of Eudora on a county road. He had been riding on the front fender with 17 year old William Harralson. the driver, Robert Miller, said he warned them to stop riding the fenders before the truck struck a bump. Also in the cab were 15 year old Robert Harralson and 51 year old Howard E. Miller. The truck was hauling rock for road resurfacing. investigation ongoing.
