Liberal Learning Jet repurposes FedEx Boeing 727 for classes
A retired FedEx Boeing 727 named Alina arrived at the Mid-America Air Museum in Liberal Kansas to become the Liberal Learning Jet. The airplane will be a classroom for 30 to 60 students from elementary through high school, focusing on math science engineering and technology. The project brings together the city school district museum foundation and Seward County Community College. Delvin Kinser and Janese Thatcher highlighted inspiring women and minorities in technical careers and the plan to add simulators and weather aviation lessons.
