Pittsburg dog track Camptown to reopen after four years
Camptown Greyhound Park outside Pittsburg plans to reopen to the public after more than four years of losses, offering simulcast betting for now and live racing expected in early July. The Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission approved the reopening after licensing steps. Park owner Phil Ruffin, who runs Wichita Greyhound Park, aims to consolidate administration and cut costs, with Ruffin investing about $500,000 to revive the venture.
