Gene Burnett, famed wood carver, honors his wife’s 75 years in Trinity Lutheran by commissioning a large Last Supper carving from Heinzeller craftsmen. The piece, begun after Christmas, enlarges his earlier work and crowns decades of church service, with local Oberammergau ties and a family craft heritage.
Calvary Church dedicates its new church addition at 3 30 p m Sunday with Rev Charles Lowe leading the service.
