Lawence police report rejects fired officer claims
A Kansas University Law School report concludes there is no evidence that Lawrence Police Department leaked sensitive information to drug dealers. It states Officer Stuart Peck was reprimanded in 2002 for falsely stating he knew a warrant was needed, and he was suspended in January after a judge ruled he lied to obtain a search warrant.
