Holiday Park Pool to Close and Redevelop
The privately owned Holiday Park pool will not reopen this summer. Owner Dennis Barritt plans to build five houses on 3103 W Ninth, saying repairs are costly as chlorine has damaged pipes and city competition with a new pool weighs in. Land developed in the 1960s anticipated replacement in about seven years. Construction date not set.
