Tucker age 55 of Manhattan were treated and released at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a three car crash at 6 45 p m Friday at 9th and Tenn Sts Mrs Craig suffered head lacerations while Tucker sustained knee abrasions Tucker caused collision with a car driven by Robert E Lowe 25 of 748 Ark St Lowe was shaken up Police estimated damages 500 800 and 170 to the Tucker car Mrs Craig car and Lowe s vehicle respectively Two other Friday accidents caused major damages one involving Dean J Milroy 45 and Randall W Kahn 15 at 6 11 p m on 17th St east of Kentucky St damage 225 and 350 the other a collision between Martha L Wheeler 18 Rt 3 and a dump truck owned by Comet Cartage Co driven by Donald P Turner 32 of 1214 Haskell Ave car damage 650 truck 120.

A Kansas University journalism camp opens June 15 with nine black scholars among 92 high school youths.
