Salina Kansas Twister Destroys Buildings and Wrecks Town
A strong twister swept Salina Kansas on June 6 causing major damage to Abbott garage and theater while knocking down wires and shredding windows. Rain and hail accompanied the storm with several area farms reporting destruction and at least seven deaths in nearby villages. A separate London wedding of a titled peer and a commoner proceeded after police raids on the bride’s clubs raised security concerns. Eight inmates were cared for at the city jail last night.
