Two Die in Head-On Collision East of Galva Kansas
A pickup truck crossed the centerline on U S Highway 56 and struck a semi head on early Saturday, killing Brent McKinney 20 of Galva and Alan Reynolds 25 of Little River. The semi driver had minor injuries and was not hospitalized. The crash occurred about a half mile west of Galva in central Kansas.

Richard Darlington, 47, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, died in a Wichita hospital after a 4 a.m. crash on Interstate 135 near Newton. His wife Patricia, 42, and daughter Erin, 11, were in critical condition at St. Francis Hospital, while sons Todd 13 and Kelly 15 were treated and released.
