Fran Martorano Makes Dream Gowns Fit for 1000 Brides
Fran Martorano is one of Vera Plumb's three fitters in Upper Montclair. She measures pins cuts sews and fits about 1,000 wedding gowns yearly, helping brides achieve their dream look. The craft requires skill refined over 30 years, now a rarer art amid ready to wear and high costs. Vera Plumb's services include designer samples and in-house fittings, with brides often describing her work as a dream fulfilled.
