Wisecracks and warnings for Ella in letters on marriage choice
A collection of letters from readers in Pleasant Grove Kan and others advise Ella to abandon her stage career for marriage to Jim Blunt. One writer urges patience and warns against romance, while another counsels immediate wedlock, favoring ranch life over stage life. The tone mixes blunt truth with playful sarcasm and notes Ella's age references.
