Paris report states radical leader Edouard Herriot refused to undertake forming a ministry to replace the Poincare cabinet after President Millerand offered the premiership. Lawrence pupils show higher education chances in study
Mil ton Cummings, a Kansas State graduate student, spoke at the Kiwanis luncheon in Wiedemann's about a nine year study comparing Lawrence Emporia Manhattan and others. The Lawrence high school produced 958 graduates with 80 percent advancing to college, higher than Chanute 41 percent and Parsons 41 percent though Emporia 78 percent and Manhattan 77 percent led.
