Oregon-California Trails Assn Convention in Kansas City
The Oregon-California Trails Association will hold its annual convention August 8 to 12 in Kansas City with the theme Beyond the Wide Missouri. It will examine the Missouri River’s role in historic trails and westward movement, using the Santa Fe Trail as a link in the Kansas City metro area. Five tours are planned, including Missouri River runs from Independence to Fort Leavenworth and a Santa Fe-Oregon-California route along the Kansas City riverfront.
