June dinner of the Business and Professional Women's Club
The June dinner at the Eldridge Hotel featured Mrs Audra Drennan and Mrs Edna Lydie as history committee chair and cochair. A history of the Lawrence club from 1919 to 1952 was read by Mrs Georgiana Graves, and retiring president Mrs Thelma Haverty was toasted with a poem. Officers and committee chairs for 1952 53 were installed by Mrs Lydie in a candlelight ceremony.
