Kelley Owens Wedding Sets City Reception in Topeka
Ida May Kelley and Earl Owens wed at 1 7 oclock Saturday evening at the home of Mr and Mrs Ed Johnson 1657 Indiana street Rev Edward Hislop officiated before a rose banked trellis. Guests included Mr and Mrs William Kelley of Fort Kansas Mrs Brock of Oklahoma City and local residents. The couple will reside in Vliets Kan. Attendants at a Trinity church pageant include Betty Cain Bertha Perkins Jeannette Bowersock Vivian Skilton Madge Gaunt Marie Gaunt and a religion pageant queen. The young people's convention of the Episcopal church eastern Kansas district will meet at Bethany College Topeka with delegates from Trinity church. Schmidt will host a 1 o'clock luncheon at Mrs. Lewis Kreeck's home on Louisiana street. Wednesdays they will receive friends from 4 to 6. Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion meets tomorrow at 8 in Legion rooms to plan the Kansas City state convention June 7-8. Country Club designates every Tuesday as Ladies Day with luncheon, golf, and bridge luncheon hosted by Mrs. J. H. Cohn, Mrs. A. D. Wilcox, and Mrs. W. A. Stuart.
