Woman pleads guilty in 2014 New York Street slaying
Lawrence woman Angelica Kulp, 40, pleaded guilty to second degree murder and aggravated burglary in the 2014 death of Christine Kaplan, 56, found in her New York Street home after family friends entered the residence. The first degree murder charge was reduced as part of a plea agreement.

Governor says no more cuts this month for Kansas
