In Kiowa the OK Co-op Elevator has received about 400,000 bushels amid wet conditions. Test weights exceed 61 pounds per bushel, matching top grades. Pratt County reports 2,500 bushels with test weights near 59-60 and 20-30 bushels per acre. Comanche County areas weigh in small amounts with Coldwater and Protection reporting ~61-pound weights.

Commodities rally on Chicago exchanges with grain gain
Grain and soybean futures jumped on the Chicago Board of Trade with July wheat at 4.03 3/4 a bushel, July corn 2.59 1/2, July oats 1.91 1/2, and July soybeans 6.09. Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange with live cattle at 81.30 per cwt and lean hogs near 68.90. Local elevator quotes showed wheat around 4.69 and soybeans about 5.54 from Ottawa and Edgerton, with various mills reporting similar figures. Nonferrous metals and precious metals quotes were listed for copper, lead, zinc, gold, silver, and platinum on London and NY exchanges.
