Former North Carolina senator Marion Butler died at Ta koma Park in Maryland at age 76. The University employment bureau under Mrs. Frank Parker placed 1471 men in jobs mostly permanent, earning 16136 last year. Compared with 1934 35, applications fell about ten percent while permanent positions and earnings nearly doubled and odd jobs rose modestly. American Youth Accept Drinking According to Maryland Survey
