State Christian Endeavor convention heads to Lawrence
Plans near completion for the State Christian Endeavor convention to be held in Lawrence next Wednesday through Friday. The First Christian church will host registrations and room assignments with other churches hosting conferences and a general assembly at the Congregational and Presbyterian churches. William Knox, general chairman, reports strong cooperation from church and business groups as hundreds of youths from 33 eastern Kansas counties are expected to attend. Delegates will stay in local homes. Dr. Harold Humbert of Independence will discuss World Crisis and lead a post address discussion.
