Second finalist named for interim Lawrence superintendent
The Lawrence school board announced Thomas Ahart as a finalist for the interim superintendent post for the next year. Ahart, a former Des Moines public schools superintendent, will be interviewed in a closed-door executive session this evening. no action is planned. He is the second publicly named finalist, joining deputy superintendent Larry Englebrick who was announced on Monday.
