In Geneva, officials from 142 members discussed prospects for a Doha launch, noting Uruguay Round implementation issues and the need for broader, more accommodating support among members.

Bad weather, health awareness, changed work habits, and the rise of diluted beer drinks like Radler contribute to the decline. Younger drinkers favor long drinks and wine, while beer remains a traditional staple for older generations.
