St Louis July 31 AP Dave fed Jackson and Forest O Brine returned to earth after 17 and a half days aloft in the Robin monoplane to honor their friend George Lam bert who was killed in a St Louis county crash. The 428 hour flight surpassed the prior record by over 173 hours. About 25 000 people greeted the landing as the plane towed to its hangar. The crew praised the aircraft motor with plans to inspect for faults. They earned over 31000 in pay and gifts and a chamber luncheon and watch presentation were announced.
