A warm front moved northeast across Lawrence and Kansas with a forecast of hot weather later in the week. The U S Weather Bureau Topeka projects partly cloudy skies to Friday with some showers tonight and highs in the lower to mid 90s and lows around the mid 70s in Lawrence.
