Roads Get Large Increase for Railroads Carrying U S Mail
Railroads carrying mail for the post office department were awarded an increase pay of about 15 million dollars per year under an Interstate Commerce Commission order. New York reports fear for the racing yacht Azara which failed to arrive in Santander Spain. Seamen fear shoal-draft vessels are unseaworthy as a century-old superstition grows.
