Expanded Lawrence Public Library Opens With Community Focus
Editorial notes strong community interest after the ribbon cutting for the renovated Lawrence Public Library. Visitors toured a bright open entry hall with a coffee bar and access to a new auditorium and lower level meeting rooms, now available for nonprofit events at no charge. The library added 27 computer stations, a sound and video studio, five study rooms, and a drive through drop off. Reservations for rooms are being set up online.
