Weeks suffered a broken leg cuts and bruises Moots had cuts to the kneecap and elbow Weeks twins Vincent and Julian 6 were uninjured David Weeks lip cut and several teeth broken. Deputy Dale Chappell said Moots dropped a cigarette and bent to pick it up when his eastbound car veered into Weeks westbound vehicle.

Dr. Fred Campbell of Kansas City was high bidder at a $2,000 bid for the old Belvoir School Building on Twin Mound Road about 14 miles southwest of Lawrence. 19-year-old Garber gets 90 day aid sentence for assault
Bennie Lee Garber, 19, of 709 Vt Street, received a 90 day aid sentence in County Court on assault and battery. He plans to appeal to District Court. Appeal bond set at 1250, not posted this morning. Garber and Harold J. Bunce, 19, were arrested after an July 1 altercation with two 17-year-old girls. Bunce charges dismissed Thursday. Complainant was Margaret Powell of Eudora.
