Barrow dies after gun battles with Iowa officers
Perry Iowa July 29 AP Wounds from two gun battles with officers brought death today to Marvin Buck Barrow alleged leader of the Barrow gang of Texas. Barrow wounded at Platte City Missouri last week and at Dexter Town last Monday. Surrounded in Dexfield park Monday Barrow and four others tried to shoot it out with twenty officers. Barrow critically wounded his wife Blanche captured and three others escaped. Clyde Barrow Marvin's brother Clyde's wife Bonnie and an unidentified man are believed to be aiding them. Bonnie Parker Barrow reported to have been treated for wounds in Denver but not found. Mrs Marvin Barrow faces trial at Platte City on assault charges.
