Friends Service Committee on feeding aid limits
Philadelphia July 29 The American Friends Service Committee says it will not take over all third feeding operations in Central Europe now run by Herbert Hoover via the American Relief Administration. Officials say the economic crisis is too severe for one group to handle. Berlin reports 682000 children fed daily in 88 German cities, with plans to increase to 1,000,000 if funds allow, and with the German government providing flour and sugar for the meals.
