Phenix Falls 11 1 to Dakota Wild in National Tourney
Phenix head coach Eric Epperson cited early season lumps as the team opened pool play at the American Fastpitch Association national B tournament with an 11 to 1 loss to the Dakota Wild at Clinton Lake Sports Complex. Kristal Holland pitched three innings. Holland hit an over the fence homer in the fifth as Phenix fought to stay alive in the losers bracket before rain ended their run.
