Concession stand boosts Douglas County 4-H funds
Four years into a volunteer model for the Douglas County Free Fair concession stands, 4-H leaders report about 12 000 dollars in annual revenue. Paula Aiken coordinates dozens of volunteers across eight days, with two shifts per club, ensuring the stands run smoothly from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
