Youth Dies in Aircraft Crash Near Ephrata
Arthur D. Grant aged 21 son of Mr and Mrs B L Grant of 714 New Hampshire street was killed Saturday in an aircraft accident near the army air base at Ephrata Washington. He was inducted into service on October 27 1942 and had been employed at the Sunflower Ordnance Works. He graduated from University High School and is survived by his parents one sister Mrs Betty Lou Grant his maternal grandparents and three cousins in the service. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. His twin brother Wilton D Grant died seven years ago.
