City regulates in home child care and local jobs debate
A neighbor's in home child care prompts questions on city rules for home businesses. Planning director Linda Finger notes state licensing limits up to 12 children for home care and that these do not require city plan approval, while child care centers need city review. The piece also cites Bob Schumm's two restaurants employing about 100 year round staff and his view on jobs created by American Eagle Outfitters.
