Missing Honda Tax recreational vehicle reported in Douglas County
On the record law enforcement log a Honda Tax recreational vehicle valued at 2500 dollars was reported missing July 14 from outside a residence in the 700 block of East 2100 Road. The owner is a 25 year old man residing at that address. Douglas County Sheriff's Office is investigating. Emergency calls: Fire and medical responses across Lawrence, Eudora, Baldwin and surrounding areas with multiple medical emergencies, 911 activations, non emergency medical calls, and a few canceled responses listed throughout the Sunday period.

Downtown Meters Targeted as $1500 Missing in Lawrence
Lawrence Police report last week saw about $1500 taken from meters in the 600 to 1000 blocks of Massachusetts Street and three nearby parking lots. The money was not recovered and authorities seek how the theft occurred. Separately in Kansas City, Timothy Allen Groves, 56, pled guilty to one count of receiving child pornography. He was arrested in Orlando, faces up to ten years with no parole, and sentencing is set for October 7.
