Flag replaced at Jackson County Courthouse in Kansas City

Randy Bradford of Topeka climbed the 60 foot pole to remove the damaged flag as about a dozen people watched from City Hall and a TV helicopter covered the ceremony. Sterling Roath, county buildings director, said a spare flag was used temporarily and that All Nations Flag Co. has agreed to provide a free replacement within days.
